Whether it's because of uncomfortable nudity, religious iconography or inappropriate titles, album covers have been home to some of the most baffling, awkwardly humorous photos in music history, destroying careers or alternatively making them.

Here are some of the best of the very worst, because they can't all be Abbey Road.
