I bought this flat in Little Venice, west London from a friend as he hadn't used it in years. He's a DJ, so it was a real lads' flat. I turned it from a three-bed to a one-bed as the energy worked better.
This room is my haven. I use it as my bedroom and a library. It's inspiring. I often sit on the bed and immerse myself in art. My father was an art dealer and I inherited his collection, so I have a lot of books I like to read here.
There is no overhead lighting in my flat. Instead, I use lamps, mood lights and candles to create a beautiful, warm atmosphere. When I’m looking for additions to my home, I often visit Alfies Antique Market or Portobello Road on Friday. I look for things that help complement the bohemian vibe I have created.
Palm tree light
I collect both plants and lamps, so this palm tree light was perfect. It is from the Curtis Jere studio in New York
This is a beautiful pre-Victorian gilded mirror. It was a gift from my first husband
As well as books, I also inherited this painting by an old Russian artist from my father
I inherited this from my mother, she used it for whisky
