Pixar films: you wait two years for one, then two turn up within months of each other.
Ahead of the release of their instant classic Inside Out, the Disney-owned animation studio has released a first trailer for the November release The Good Dinosaur.
The Good Dinosaur poses the question, "What if the prehistoric asteroid that killed all the dinosaurs had missed?". The buddy comedy follows a dinosaur called Arlo, who becomes the first dinosaur to take a human being - a small boy called Spot - as a pet.
Originally scheduled for release in 2014. the film has had a change of director and a significantly tweaked storyline in the intervening years. At one point the dinosaurs were modelled on Amish farmers, an idea binned when new director - and longtime Pixar artist - Peter Sohn came onboard.
The cast includes Neil Patrick Harris (Third Rock From the Sun), Frances McDormand (Fargo), Bill Hader (Knocked Up), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Judy Greer (Arrested Development) and Lucas Neff (Raising Hope) as Arlo.
