Of all the many Star Wars rumour-mongers who dropped hints about The Force Awakens over the past two years, the gossip continues to circle back to Simon Pegg.
The Spaced co-creator, who is also a friend and collaborator of Star Wars director JJ Abrams, has been witnessed on set by helicopter pilots, despite telling Vulture several months ago that his face "would pop people out of the movie".
It's still not clear whether his face will be present after all, but, perhaps in an attempt to divert attention away from him, Pegg has let slip that Daniel Craig will make a secret cameo.
Pegg said: "I wasn't a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper." The actor retracted his comment at the Man Up premiere in London, saying, "I shouldn't have said that."

The Sun report that "Daniel asked for some sort of secret cameo role - and was happy to have his name left off the posters. Fans will love trying to work out which covered up character is him."
Unless Craig makes like John Boyega and escapes from his helmet, it's unlikely we'll ever know which one the Bond star is inside.
