Players of the week

Premier League: Mohamed Salah (£4.5m)

Mohamed Salah scored twice in Week 13 as Liverpool romped to a 4-1 win away to West Ham. That result signalled the end of Slavan Bilic's tenure at the Hammers, who currently sit in the relegation zone as we head for the international break.

As for Liverpool, they're three points off the Champions League places but will be boosted by the return of Sadio Mane. He keeps a balance to Jurgen Klopp's attacking play, which will give Salah even more room to operate in coming weeks. The Egyptian has scored seven Premier League goals so far this season, just one less than Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero in the race for the Golden Boot.

Championship: Leon Clarke (£4.7m)

Leon Clarke produced the performance of the season so far, scoring four second half goals as Sheffield United came from behind to beat Hull.

The Blades are currently second in the Championship, just two points behind leaders Wolves, and will kick start Week 15 when they take on Burton Albion on Friday, November 17.

Managers of the week

Premier League: Michael Ewins from Bournemouth

Michael Ewins was the manager of the week, scooping himself a £100 first prize. His team, ME3M 9, chalked up a whopping total of 103 TFF points, just one less than the Premier League team of the week (see below).

Championship: Wayne Brignull from Colchester

Wayne Brignull picks up the Championship manager of the week award as he topped the leaderboard with 95 TFF points. He also collects a £100 first prize and sees his name added to the TFF 2017/18 hall of fame.

Teams of the week

Premier League: 104 points

For the first time this season, the Premier League team of the week only features one striker as Sergio Aguero leads the line with seven TFF points.

Five midfielders make up the best XI, with Riyad Mahrez's return to form making him an interesting acquisition for managers in the coming weeks.

Championship: 190 points

There were two rounds of fixtures in the Championship so an unbelievable total of 190 points could have been collected for just £41.1m.

Barry Douglas scored 21 points from defence, with his teammates John Ruddy, Willy Boly and Ryan Bennett also joining him in the team of the week.

Week 13 scout report

Market movers

Harry Kane was by some considerable distance the most transferred in player of the week, seeing himself added to 20,000 more teams. All of those managers were left disappointed as the game's most expensive player failed to make an impact against Crystal Palace.

Interestingly, Dele Alli was removed from more teams than any other player despite his double against Real Madrid in midweek. The £5.8m rated midfielder suffered a hamstring injury that has ruled him out of England's two international fixtures which seemed enough reason for 6,000 managers to swap him out for Leroy Sane or Raheem Sterling.
