There’s a combination of all-weather Flat racing and National Hunt action on Tuesday that clocks in at a shade over eight hours and features five cards from across the UK and Ireland.

Lingfield’s all-weather Flat card (11.55am-3.25pm) gets the ball rolling before the jumps racing begins at Sedgefield (12.15-3.16), Punchestown (12.30-3.30) and Southwell (12.37-3.37). The evening action comes on the level at Wolverhampton (4.00-8.00).

Tuesday’s nap runs at Lingfield and will be looking to make a winning nursery bow for trainer David O’Meara.

Horse racing tips: Lingfield 1.25

MILLIE’S ANGEL is fancied to hit the target at the third time of asking for David O’Meara in what doesn't appear to be the strongest of nurseries over six furlongs at Lingfield.

The Dandy Man filly shaped well on debut at Chelmsford this month, coming home in third, and she built on that effort 11 days ago when finishing second at Wolverhampton over this trip.

She had no answer to the winner Copinet there, but that rival had finished second behind 82-rated Godolphin inmate Isle Of May on debut at Kempton in August in her only previous start and may prove to be well above average.

As such, that was a pleasing effort from Millie’s Angel and gives rise to the notion that an opening mark of 65 will be within her compass of capability this afternoon.

Patsy Fagan and Jaffathegaffa are among those with some form in the book already but both look exposed enough at this juncture and, with further improvement forecast on nursery bow, this is a great chance for Millie’s Angel to make her mark at a track O’Meara finds a fair share of winners.

Tip: Millie's Angel @ 5/2 with bet365

Horse racing tips: Sedgefield 2.16

A dual bumper winner at Carlisle and Perth in the spring of last year, EQUUS DANCER didn’t manage a whole lot in four starts over hurdles last season but is already leaving that form behind after a winning start to his chasing career over course and distance for trainer Peter Bowen this month.

Sean Bowen’s mount wasn’t foot perfect in that assignment, but he arrived with a strong challenge at the second-last obstacle and went on to score by nine lengths with plenty in hand.

He’s sure to improve for that experience and runner-up Outcrop gave the form a boost by scoring at Market Rasen last Thursday. Equus Dancer has been put up 7lb for his win but the Bowens will be hoping he can defy his new mark of 120 against some exposed rivals.

Likely rival Slanelough is 0-12 over fences now and his two pleasing recent efforts have come over shorter trips than this one of 2m 3½f. Onthefrontfoot meanwhile has more to find to defy his current mark having been third of three finishers at Ludlow recently.

All in all, this looks a good opportunity for Equus Dancer to confirm the promise of his chasing bow.

Tip: Equus Dancer @ 11/8 with bet365

Horse racing tips: Southwell 2.37

The James Evans-trained COMPADRE may be able to take advantage of a reduced hurdles rating to gain his first win in this sphere over 3m ½f at Southwell.

The nine-year-old Yeats gelding has four successes over fences on his CV, the most recent coming at Uttoxeter over three miles in August, his second start back from a break.

He was back over hurdles 11 days on at Fontwell, dropped in distance and seeking to take advantage of a reduced mark, but things didn’t go to plan. As usual he was held up by Ben Poste but they could never get into the race as the winner was in front from flagfall and didn’t come back to his rivals.

Over a shorter journey, Compadre didn’t have the tactical speed to manoeuvre into a challenging position in that scenario. The result is he has been eased again in the ratings and he is now 10lb lower than the mark he won over fences from at Uttoxeter.

With this longer trip expected to suit, he may be underestimated by the market.

Tip: Compadre @ 8/1 with bet365
