A hectic Tuesday of racing is in store with no fewer than seven meetings down for decision.

Flat racing comes from Leicester (1.35-5.35) and Cork (1.55-5.50) on the turf ahead of all-weather fares at Newcastle (4.12-8.15) and Wolverhampton (4.25-8.30). The jumps racing on a busy afternoon is from Hereford (12.15-4.08), Huntingdon (12.00-3.45) and Punchestown (1.40-5.05).

Our NAP selection looks to get Nico de Boinville a first winner of the new season at a track which traditionally serves him well.

Horse racing tips today: Huntingdon 1.30

Nico de Boinville sits atop the table of leading riders at Huntingdon over the last five seasons, with his tally of 19 winners from 74 rides at the venue enough to boast a strike-rate of 26 per cent.

He's got a chance to bolster that record on Tuesday when he teams up with Ben Pauling - an alliance that has served both well in the past - to try and further the progress of Northern Bound over fences.

He didn't make any great impression in a six-race hurdles career that failed to yield a win but he already looks destined to come into his own at this discipline.

He was well supported on his chase bow at Uttoxeter (2m4f, good) early last month and finished second, unable to reel in the impressive frontrunner Captain Speaking having been ridden patiently in rear by de Boinville.

The winner confirmed the promise of that run by scoring from a 12lb higher mark at Plumpton next time out, while Northern Bound also went one better at Warwick (2m4f, good) three weeks ago.

Claiming rider Luca Morgan was on board that afternoon and the partnership did well to hold off a late challenge from Anti Cool, the pair having pulled away from the field.

A 6lb rise is within Northern Bound's compass, with de Boinville back on board and conditions favourable again.

Tom Weston will be confident that last week's Sedgefield winner The Late Legend can continue his progress over fences by defying a 7lb penalty under Sean Bowen.

He had returned from a break in August with a much-improved effort to be second at Uttoxeter (2m6½f, good to soft) on what was only his second chase start.

He filled the same berth again at Newton Abbot (3m2f, good) last month despite his fencing not being foot-perfect. He only gave best to Midnight Magic late on, and that form has stood up since.

At Sedgefield last week, Bowen brought his mount into contention four from home and they quickly had the field struggling. The race was in safe keeping at two out and only a safe jump at the last was needed.

The penalty looks entirely fair and, having shown a tendency to jump to the right at his fences, going this way around at Huntingdon can help eke out further improvement from a horse clearly on fine terms with himself.

Tip: The Late Legend @ 7/4 with bet365

Horse racing tips today: Wolverhampton 6.00

Rocket Dancer will be popular here having landed a gamble at Newcastle last month despite some trouble in running. He's far from fully exposed and has to rate a strong player from 4lb higher.

Recent Bath turf winner Kendergarten Cop should also figure but the mare Beatbybeatbybeat looks to be in with a shout of gaining her fourth career success at Dunstall Park.

Anthony Brittain's charge just failed to get up when arriving late on the scene in an apprentice race over C&D early last month, with the winner boosted having raced more prominently.

Beatbybeatbybeat is rated 1lb higher officially but with Harry Russell entitled to his full 5lb claim in this contest, she's effectively better off and should be arriving fast and late in a bid for another Wolverhampton success, which would be her second of 2020.

Tip: Beatbybeatbybeat @ 5/1 with bet365
