Five meetings make up Tuesday’s programme across the UK and Ireland. There’s Flat racing from Yarmouth (1.00-4.00pm), Redcar (1.15-4.50), Kempton Park (3.55-8.10, all-weather) and across the Irish Sea at Tipperary (1.05-4.35), plus Nation Hunt action at Hexham (2.10-5.50).
Our expert tipster’s nap vote goes to Return Ticket, a Rebecca Menzies-trained challenger looking to get off the mark over fences at Hexham.

Horse racing tips today: Hexham, 5.15 – Return just the Ticket
He has only had a couple of starts since joining Rebecca Menzies from Ruth Jefferson but RETURN TICKET has shown he is ready to get his head in front soon.
Last month’s stable debut came over hurdles at Uttoxeter and he looked in real need of the run, his first since March, as his effort petered out in quick fashion.
He had mixed it with some good novice chasers last term, contesting a Grade 1 at Sandown in December and twice finishing second, at Catterick (2m 3f, soft) and on his final outing for Jefferson at Kempton (2m, good to soft).
Back over fences at Perth (2m, good to soft) 16 days ago he just failed to beg back Lucky Flight in finishing second for the third time in five chases.
He was giving away more than a stone to the winner in that handicap and, on these terms, a repeat showing over this 1m 7½f trip should be good enough to see him on the scoreboard.

Horse racing tips today: Hexham, 2.10 – Champ worth Bering in mind
Champion jockey Brian Hughes can get his afternoon at Hexham off on a positive note with BERING UPSUN in this handicap hurdle over an extended 2m 4f.
Although he’s nine years old, hasn’t got a lot of miles on the clock. He also hasn’t run over hurdles since early 2018 and was 0-6 in this sphere by that point, but he’s on a workable mark here and goes well fresh.
Bering Upsun made a successful transition to chasing in October 2019 after 609 days away from the track when he won under Hughes at Kelso (2m 1f, good to soft). His jumping wasn’t the most convincing and that remained the case in three further starts, holding him back in truth.
He wasn’t beaten that far (seven lengths) when last spotted at Catterick in January and he reverts to hurdling from a 5lb lower mark. His record of going well on the back of a break is another major plus-point and he can get the job done under the champ.
Tip: Bering Upsun @ 4/1 with bet365
Horse racing tips today: Yarmouth, 1.30 – Haggas colt to Star
Just four runners contest this Class 2 event over just shy of a 1m 4f that is a good opportunity for STAR OF WINS from the William Haggas yard.
The Sea The Stars colt has improved on each of his four outings to date. He landed a Windsor maiden (1m 2f, good to firm) in July and supplemented that on his handicap bow at Sandown over the same distance from an opening mark of 82. That run promised more and the 88-rated runner-up was a winner next time out.
A rise of 2lb in the ratings looks lenient for this progressive three-year-old and while it’s hard to rule out any of the others, he’s fancied to continue his progress by making the most of the bottom weight he carries under Cieren Fallon.
Tip: Star Of Wins @ 7/4 with bet365
