The latest Premier League relegation odds have Sheffield United joining Fulham and West Brom as odds-on for the drop this season

Sheffield United have found it difficult to replicate the form that earned them ninth place in the Premier League last season. Chris Wilder’s side are bottom of the table after the 1-0 home defeat by West Ham United on Sunday, their eighth loss in nine league games.

Fulham remain favourites for relegation after missing another penalty in the 3-2 home defeat by Everton, while West Bromwich Albion are second favourites after losing 1-0 at Manchester United.

Premier League relegation betting

Sheffield United’s Premier League relegation odds have been cut from 11/8 to 8/11 following their latest defeat at home to West Ham. The Blades are bottom of the table and have been far from abject but lack a cutting edge – they’re the joint-lowest scorers in the top flight with just four goals.

Burnley, the other side on that tally, were pushed out from 10/11 to 5/4 following their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, which prompted the bookies to shorten Palace’s odds from 6/1 from 11/2.

Brighton are now 7/1 (from 4/1) for the drop after their away win against Aston Villa, while the Villans are back in to 16/1 despite remaining seventh in the table.
