Manchester United will look to kick their season off with three points as Crystal Palace travel to Old Trafford for their Saturday evening clash.
United start the new campaign a week later than most teams because of their exploits in the latter stages of the Europa League in 2019-20.
Palace, meanwhile, already have three points on the board after earning a 1-0 victory over Southampton at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

United to make solid start
Manchester United brought 2019-20 to an end with a 14-game unbeaten run to secure third place and a spot in the Champions League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be eager to see his men continue that form in the early stages of the new term as they look to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City.
History suggests they will make a positive start to the season, having won each of their last five opening-day fixtures.
They romped to a 4-0 win at home to Chelsea at the start of 2019-20 and another comfortable victory could be on the cards this weekend.
Indeed, United, who had the third-best defensive record in the Premier League last term, have won their opening game to nil in three of the last five seasons.
Palace head to Old Trafford buoyed by a 1-0 victory over Southampton at Selhurst Park on Saturday, courtesy of a strike from Wilfried Zaha.
However, they were extremely lucky to earn all three points as Saints dominated long periods of the game and were denied by several top saves from Vicente Guaita.
United are unlikely to spurn as many opportunities, while it's also worth noting that the Eagles already have a defensive crisis with five senior players having missed the opener.
Tip: Manchester United to win to nil @ 11/10 with Betfred
Palace may pay penalty
United have been awarded more penalties than anyone else in the Premier League in each of the last two seasons.
In 2019-20, the Red Devils won a record-breaking 14 Premier League penalties, converting on 10 occasions, including one in the opening-weekend 4-0 triumph at home to Chelsea.
There wasn’t home advantage as such with exactly half of them coming at Old Trafford. Solskjaer’s men are expected to spend the majority of Saturday’s clash on the front foot and, therefore, will put Palace under serious pressure inside their own box and could benefit from a penalty.
Marcus Rashford missed one against Palace in a 2-1 loss at the Theatre of Dreams last term, although Bruno Fernandes, who joined in January, scored with each of his four attempts from 12 yards in the Premier League.
It’s also worth considering that four penalties have already been awarded this season with Liverpool and Leicester winning two apiece.
Tip: Manchester United to score a penalty @ 7/2 with Betfred
Fernandes to open account
United were a vastly improved side after Fernandes arrived from Sporting Lisbon in January.
The Portuguese netted eight goals in 14 top-flight appearances and also chipped in with a further seven assists.
Trusted with taking penalties and free-kicks, he looks a solid contender to get on the scoresheet against the Eagles.
Tip: Bruno Fernandes to score at any time @ 13/10 with Betfred
