Forget matching your lipstick to your polish, it's now about coordinating your hair with your sunglasses if Cate Blanchett's latest beauty move is anything to go by.
Joining Dame Helen Mirren, who decided life was sweeter in the pink back in 2013, Blanchett's new candyfloss rinse was spotted whilst on a jaunt through West London last night - inconspicuous it was not.
Not one for experimenting with different shades up until now - her hair colourist London-based Nicola Clarke has been responsible for her perfect baby-blonde for years - Blanchett's semi-permanent pink barnet will no doubt set the celebrity beauty world alight.

Clarke, also enlisted to create the pink wash, explained; “We've been talking about doing it for a while but wanted to get all the award seasons out of the way to have a play and a bit of fun. It will last a couple of weeks, depending on how many washes it has,” explained Clarke, creative colour director, John Frieda Salons and Color Wow.
Her first appearance since the Academy Awards in February, Blanchett's new pink ambition, complete with matching sunny disposition, suggests that life's more fun through rose-tinted glasses.
